Your itinerary

Arrival & Welcome DinnerDay One

The moment your feet touch Ghanaian soil, something shifts. The air is warmer, the colours are richer, and somewhere deep inside you, a door opens. Our team will be right there at arrivals, goodie bag in hand, smiles ready to welcome you the way Ghana welcomes everyone: with warmth that feels like it was waiting just for you. We'll get you settled, let the journey melt away, and then bring you together for a Welcome Dinner that is equal parts delicious and electric. New faces will become familiar ones tonight. By dessert, you'll already feel like family

Accra City UnveiledDay Two

Accra is now your city. And today, we give you all of it. We begin at the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, where the great Pan-African scholar chose to spend his final years — a profoundly moving tribute to a man who believed in Africa before Africa believed in itself. From there, we stand before the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial, where the vision of independence is carved in stone and planted in earth. The iconic Black Star Gate follows — symbolic, powerful, and impossible to stand before without feeling something. We then descend into the living history of James Town — Accra's oldest neighbourhood, where lighthouse walls, boxing gyms, and street murals tell a thousand stories at once. The afternoon belongs to the Accra Art Centre, where colour, craft, and commerce collide in the most wonderful way. Barter boldly. Buy generously. A local lunch keeps you fuelled for every single step.

Ancestral DayDay Three

There are days that inform you, and then there are days that transform you. Today is the latter. We travel to Elmina, home to one of the oldest European structures in sub-Saharan Africa and the site of unimaginable human suffering. Elmina Castle is not easy to walk through, and it is not meant to be. Our expert guide will lead you through the dungeons, the courtyards, and the Door of No Return with the honesty and depth this place commands. You will leave knowing more about history, about resilience, and about yourself than when you arrived. From Elmina, we journey to Assin Manso and the Slave River — a sacred site where many have waded into the water and felt a profound, unspoken completion. We take that feeling with us to lunch, where we sit together, breathe, and hold the weight of the day with the people who shared it.

Into the Aburi HillsDay Four

After the emotional weight of yesterday, Aburi arrives like a deep exhale. We wind our way up into the cool, mist-laced hills, and the moment the city falls away behind you, everything slows down beautifully. The Aburi Botanical Gardens is one of Ghana's most treasured natural spaces: ancient trees arching overhead, exotic plants in every direction, and a peace that feels almost sacred. We follow the sound of rushing water to the Waterfall — a stunning cascade hidden in the hillside that earns its place in every camera roll it's ever appeared in. After a satisfying lunch in the hills, we browse the Aburi Arts & Crafts Market — the finest collection of handmade Ghanaian craft in the country. If you're bringing something home, this is where you find it.

The Hidden ChapterDay Five

Today belongs to one of Ghana's most extraordinary and underrated cultural treasures — the Nkyinkyim Museum. Named after the Adinkra symbol of adaptability, this remarkable museum brings Ghanaian history, mythology, and cultural identity to life in a way that is unlike anything else in the country. Through sculpture, symbolism, and storytelling, you'll walk away with a richer, deeper understanding of what it truly means to be Ghanaian and what Africa has always known about itself. This is the day your cultural education goes from fascinating to unforgettable. Come curious. Leave transformed.

Farewell DayDay Six

We saved the most joyful day for last and it delivers. This morning we roll up our sleeves for a Ghanaian cooking class that is as delicious as it is entertaining. Learn the techniques, taste the spices, and discover the stories behind the dishes that have nourished this culture for generations. Then we pick up where we left off — quite literally — with a Batik fabric-making class, where ancient dyeing traditions become wearable art you'll create with your own hands. What you make today, you take home forever. And then, as the sun begins its descent over Accra, we gather one final time for a Farewell Dinner. Stories are shared, laughter fills the room, and we raise a glass to seven days that changed us in ways we're still discovering. Ghana, you outdid yourself.

Until Next Time, GhanaDay Seven

The bags are packed. The goodie bag is probably already half-empty. And somewhere between Elmina and Aburi, between the drumbeats and the dinner table, Ghana got under your skin in the best possible way. We'll get you to the airport comfortably, on time, and with our full team seeing you off the same way we welcomed you. Safe travels. Come back soon. The door is always open here.
