Our Story
Landmark curates journeys across Africa that prioritize depth over breadth, relationships over transactions, and beauty over spectacle.
The Beginning
Landmark began with a simple observation: most travel to Africa was either packaged tourism or extreme adventure, with little room for the curious, intentional traveler who wanted to understand a place rather than just photograph it.
We started by designing a single trip to Ghana. Not a tour — a journey. One that moved slowly, met people properly, and returned value to the communities it passed through. That trip sold out in two weeks. The second sold out faster. By the third, we realized we were not building a travel company. We were building a community of people who believe the best way to see the world is with patience, respect, and depth.
Today Landmark operates across West, East, North, and Southern Africa. But the principle has not changed: small groups, local relationships, and itineraries designed by people who genuinely love the places they send you.
Our Difference
We are not a booking platform. We are not a tour operator. We are a small team of travelers, planners, and local partners who design trips we would want to take ourselves — then deliver them with the care usually reserved for family.
