Your itinerary

Arrival & Welcome DinnerDay One

The moment you step off that plane, Ghana wraps around you like something familiar, warm, alive, and unmistakably home. Our team will be right there waiting, goody bag in hand, ready to make your first moments on African soil unforgettable. We get you settled, let the jet lag melt away, and then we sit down together for a Welcome Dinner that sets the tone for everything that follows. Good food. Great people. And the quiet, electric feeling that something extraordinary has just begun.

Accra City TourDay Two

Accra is a city that demands to be felt, not just seen and today we give you all of it. We begin at the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, a tribute to the Pan-African intellectual who chose Ghana as his final home, before heading to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where the spirit of independence stands tall in bronze and marble. We walk the halls of the historic Christiansborg Castle — seat of Ghanaian power for centuries and pause for reflection at the serene Asomdwe Peace Park. The Black Star Gate crowns the afternoon: iconic, symbolic, and impossible not to photograph. We close the day the way Ghana deserves with a live drumming class that gets your whole body involved, and a proper local lunch to fuel it all.

The Night Before FreedomDay Three

Today we peel back the layers of Accra and find the soul underneath. James Town — Accra's oldest neighbourhood — is raw, colourful, and completely alive with history and character. We walk its streets, hear its stories, and take in a side of the city most tourists never see. Then it's into the organised beautiful chaos of Makola Market — Ghana's most famous trading hub — where the colours, sounds, and smells are an experience all on their own. Come ready to barter, browse, and be amazed. And just when you think the day can't get any better, the evening arrives: our exclusive Independence Eve Private Soirée. Dressed up, together, the night before Ghana marks 70 years of freedom. Tonight, the countdown begins.

Independence DayDay Four

This is the day the whole country comes alive and you're right in the middle of it. Ghana's Independence Day is unlike anything you've ever experienced: streets draped in red, gold, and green; music pouring from every corner; a people celebrating the freedom they fought for and the future they're building. We join the national celebrations together, surrounded by the pride, the colour, and the joy that makes this day one of the most electric on earth. As the sun sets, we gather for an Independence Dinner — a fitting close to a day that will live in your memory long after you've returned home. You didn't just visit Ghana on Independence Day. You celebrated it.

Aburi Escape | Gardens, Waterfalls & Artisan CraftsmanshipDay Five

After two days of celebrations, Aburi arrives right on time. We head up into the cool, misty hills and the moment the city noise fades behind you, something in you exhales. The Aburi Botanical Gardens is a quiet marvel of towering trees and exotic flora, the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and just be present. We then chase the sound of water to the stunning Asenema Waterfall — a cascade tucked into the hillside that is, quite simply, one of Ghana's most beautiful secrets. After lunch in the hills, we explore the Aburi Arts & Crafts Market — the finest spot in the country to find handmade treasures, textiles, and pieces that carry a story home with you.

Free DayDay Six

No agenda. No alarm. No schedule. Today belongs entirely to you. Sleep in, wander, revisit a favourite spot, or discover somewhere new entirely on your own terms. A night bus is available for those who want to move around, but there is absolutely nothing you have to do today except enjoy the gift of time in one of the world's most vibrant countries. Rest up — Cape Coast awaits tomorrow, and it asks that you arrive with an open heart.

Journey to Our Heritage - Day 1Day Seven

Some places in the world carry the weight of history so completely that words fall short. Cape Coast is one of them. Our first stop is Assin Manso — the Slave River — a sacred site where many in the diaspora have waded into the water and felt a circle complete. From there, we enter the gates of Cape Coast Castle. Our expert guide walks you through the dungeons, the courtyards, and the Door of No Return with the depth and honesty this place demands. It is heavy, it is necessary, and it is unforgettable. We breathe, we reflect, and then we sit down for lunch at the legendary Coconut Grove — right on the coast, with the Atlantic stretching out before us. A meal earned and deeply deserved.

Journey to Our Heritage - Day 2Day Eight

Day two in Cape Coast begins high above the forest floor. Kakum National Park is home to one of Africa's most thrilling canopy walkways — suspended bridges strung between ancient trees, with the rainforest canopy spreading out beneath you in every direction. It is breathtaking, exhilarating, and completely unlike anything else on this trip. Then comes the moment many travellers describe as the most meaningful of their entire journey: your Naming Ceremony. In a deeply moving traditional ritual, you will be given a Ghanaian name — a recognition, a welcome, and a belonging. You are not a visitor here. You never were. We close this extraordinary chapter together over a Farewell Lunch, raising a glass to nine days that changed us, connected us, and brought us home.

DepartureDay Nine

The bags are packed but Ghana is not leaving you, it travels home in every photo, every piece from Aburi market, every name you were given, and every story you now carry. We'll get you to the airport with the same care and warmth that welcomed you nine days ago. Safe travels. Come back soon. Ghana will be here.

Travelers to Ghana are generally required to show proof of yellow fever vaccination. We also recommend speaking with your doctor or a travel clinic about routine vaccines, malaria precautions, and any other health guidance before your trip.

You should prepare a valid passport, your flight details, comfortable clothing for tours, swimwear or beachwear, and outfits for dinners, nightlife, and photo moments. We also recommend bringing any personal medication, travel essentials, and a little extra spending money for shopping or personal expenses.
