Your itinerary

Arrival & Welcome PartyDay One

Your Ghana era starts now. Touch down, breathe in that warm Accra air, and let us take it from here. You'll be greeted by our team and handed your exclusive Landmark welcome goody bag because first impressions matter. We get you settled, then we get the party started. Tonight is your official welcome to the motherland: good food, great energy, and the kind of laughter that only comes from being exactly where you're supposed to be. Ghana didn't wait this long to disappoint you.

Accra City TourDay Two

Today Accra becomes your classroom and what a classroom it is. We kick off at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where the legacy of Ghana's founding father stands proud and permanent. We pass the iconic Black Star Gate, a symbol of freedom that still gives goosebumps. Then we swap history for heartbeat, a live drumming class that'll have your whole body moving before you even realise it. Cap the afternoon with a browse and bargain session at the Art Centre before settling into a proper Ghanaian lunch. Today, you don't just see Accra. You feel it.

Roads to Our Heritage ExperienceDay Three

This is the day that changes you. We travel to Cape Coast, one of the most historically significant places on earth. Standing inside Cape Coast Castle, you'll feel the weight of history in every stone, every corridor, every Door of No Return. Our expert guide will walk you through it all with honesty, depth, and reverence. We break for a beautiful lunch at the legendary Coconut Grove, right on the coast, before making our way to Assin Manso — the Slave River — where many completed their journey of return. Come prepared to be moved.

Aburi HillsDay Four

Trade the city for the cool, green hills of Aburi and let nature do what it does best, restore you. The Aburi Botanical Gardens is a living, breathing masterpiece: towering trees, exotic plants, and a calm that wraps around you the moment you arrive. From there, we chase the sound of rushing water to the magnificent Asenema Waterfall — one of Ghana's hidden gems and an absolute must for your camera roll. A delicious lunch in the hills rounds off a day that proves Ghana's beauty goes far beyond its coastline.

Free Day & New Year’s Eve PartyDay Five

The day is yours, completely and unapologetically. Sleep in. Revisit a favourite spot. Do absolutely nothing. We have support available if you want to explore on your own terms, but there are zero obligations and zero itineraries today. Save your energy, because tonight we celebrate. The NYE Party is where Detty December peaks — music that doesn't stop, dancing that doesn't slow down, and a midnight countdown on African soil that you will talk about for the rest of your life. This is what you came for.

Beach Day & Farewell DinnerDay Six

Happy New Year and what a year it's already becoming. Start January 1st the right way: bare feet in the sand, warm sun on your skin, ocean ahead of you. Today is all about unwinding, soaking up the last drops of Ghanaian magic, and making those final memories with the people who shared this journey with you. As the sun dips, we come together one last time for a Farewell Dinner that's equal parts celebration and gratitude. Glasses raised, stories shared, and hearts full. Ghana gave us everything.

DepartureDay Seven

The bags are packed but the memories aren't going anywhere. We'll get you to the airport comfortably and on time, with our team seeing you off the same way we welcomed you with care, warmth, and a little bit of sadness that it's over. Until next time, Ghana. You never disappoint.

Trip FAQs

Inclusions, payments, dates, and joining solo.

Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?

Visa requirements depend on your passport. Many travelers need a visa before entering Ghana, so we recommend checking the official Ghana Immigration Service requirements early and applying in advance where necessary. Guests are responsible for securing the correct travel documents before departure.

Do you offer a flexible payment plan?

Yes. You can secure your spot with a deposit and pay the remaining balance in installments. Payments must be completed by the final payment deadline so we can confirm your hotel, transportation, activities, and other trip arrangements on time.

What should I expect after booking?

Once your spot is confirmed, you will receive access to your Landmark guest dashboard, where you can view your reservation, payment details, arrival guidance, and important trip updates. Our team will also keep you informed before departure so you know what to expect and can prepare for Ghana with confidence.

Are international flights included?

No. International flights are not included in the package. Once you arrive in Ghana, the included trip services begin, including scheduled airport transfers, transportation for listed activities, curated experiences, and selected meals.

Can I join the trip alone?

Absolutely. Many guests join our group trips solo and leave with new friendships and shared memories. Landmark trips are designed to feel welcoming, social, and well-hosted, so you can come alone, with a friend, or with a group.

Which airport should I fly into?

You should fly into Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana. The airport code is ACC. This is where the Landmark team will coordinate your arrival transfer based on the group schedule.

Do I need any vaccinations?

Travelers to Ghana are generally required to show proof of yellow fever vaccination. We also recommend speaking with your doctor or a travel clinic about routine vaccines, malaria precautions, and any other health guidance before your trip.

What should I prepare before the trip?

You should prepare a valid passport, your flight details, comfortable clothing for tours, swimwear or beachwear, and outfits for dinners, nightlife, and photo moments. We also recommend bringing any personal medication, travel essentials, and a little extra spending money for shopping or personal expenses.

Where will we stay?

Accommodation details will be shared as part of your confirmed trip package. Landmark selects hotels based on comfort, location, guest experience, and easy access to the scheduled activities.
