Your itinerary

Arrival & Night-Out in AccraDay One

Your Ghanaian adventure begins the moment you land. Our team will be waiting to welcome you with a specially curated Landmark goody bag because you deserve to arrive in style. Freshen up, soak in your first Accra sunset, then the night is yours. We're taking you out for a proper night on the town with food, drinks, and the unmistakable energy of Accra after dark. Ghana didn't come to play and neither did we.

Accra City ExperienceDay Two

Dive headfirst into the soul of Accra. We begin at the iconic Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, a powerful tribute to the father of the nation. From there, marvel at the symbolic Black Star Gate before heading into the vibrant heartbeat of the city. Your afternoon is alive with the rhythm of drumming class and the colour of the Art Centre, where you'll shop, barter, and bring home a piece of Ghana. We round the day off with a delicious local lunch that'll have you asking for seconds.

Road to Heritage ExperienceDay Three

Today is the day your journey becomes something deeper. We travel to Cape Coast for a meaningful naming ceremony, a spiritual homecoming that will stay with you forever. We walk the halls of Elmina Castle, where the weight of history is felt in every stone, guided by a knowledgeable expert who brings these stories to life. After a beautifully serene lunch at the beachside Coconut Grove, we visit Assin Manso — the Slave River — a sacred site that completes the circle of this profound day.

Aburi & Waterfall ExperienceDay Four

Escape the city and ascend into the cool, lush highlands of Aburi. The Aburi Botanical Gardens will greet you with a canopy of trees and a serenity you didn't know you were craving. Then we chase waterfalls — the Asenema Falls is as breathtaking as it sounds. Recharge with a refreshing fruit platter in the hills before sitting down for a satisfying lunch. This is Ghana at its most naturally beautiful, bring your camera and an open heart.

Free Day & New Year’s Eve (Optional)Day Five

A day entirely yours, sleep in, explore independently, revisit a favourite spot, or simply breathe. We provide support for anyone who wants to move around the city at their own pace. Then as midnight approaches, the real magic begins. Ring in the New Year Ghanaian-style with our exclusive NYE Party add-on — music, dancing, and memories that'll soundtrack the rest of your year. Welcome to 2028!

Beach Day & Farewell DinnerDay Six

What better way to start the new year than barefoot on a Ghanaian beach? We'll spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, laughing, swimming, and making those last golden memories together. As the sun sets, we gather for a Farewell Dinner, a celebration of the bonds formed, the history felt, and the joy shared over these extraordinary days. Ghana gave us everything. Tonight, we say thank you.

Goodbye & DepartureDay Seven

All good things must come to an end — but the memories are yours to keep forever. We'll get you to the airport in comfort, on time, and with your heart full. Until next time, Ghana.

Trip FAQs

Inclusions, payments, dates, and joining solo.

Do you offer a flexible payment plan?

Yes. You can secure your spot with a deposit and pay the remaining balance in installments. Payments must be completed by the final payment deadline so we can confirm your hotel, transportation, activities, and other trip arrangements on time.

Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?

Visa requirements depend on your passport. Many travelers need a visa before entering Ghana, so we recommend checking the official Ghana Immigration Service requirements early and applying in advance where necessary. Guests are responsible for securing the correct travel documents before departure.

What should I expect after booking?

Once your spot is confirmed, you will receive access to your Landmark guest dashboard, where you can view your reservation, payment details, arrival guidance, and important trip updates. Our team will also keep you informed before departure so you know what to expect and can prepare for Ghana with confidence.

Are international flights included?

No. International flights are not included in the package. Once you arrive in Ghana, the included trip services begin, including scheduled airport transfers, transportation for listed activities, curated experiences, and selected meals.

Can I join the trip alone?

Absolutely. Many guests join our group trips solo and leave with new friendships and shared memories. Landmark trips are designed to feel welcoming, social, and well-hosted, so you can come alone, with a friend, or with a group.

Which airport should I fly into?

You should fly into Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana. The airport code is ACC. This is where the Landmark team will coordinate your arrival transfer based on the group schedule.

Do I need any vaccinations?

Travelers to Ghana are generally required to show proof of yellow fever vaccination. We also recommend speaking with your doctor or a travel clinic about routine vaccines, malaria precautions, and any other health guidance before your trip.

What should I prepare before the trip?

You should prepare a valid passport, your flight details, comfortable clothing for tours, swimwear or beachwear, and outfits for dinners, nightlife, and photo moments. We also recommend bringing any personal medication, travel essentials, and a little extra spending money for shopping or personal expenses.

Where will we stay?

Accommodation details will be shared as part of your confirmed trip package. Landmark selects hotels based on comfort, location, guest experience, and easy access to the scheduled activities.
