Your itinerary

Arrival & Welcome DinnerDay One

Arrive at Blaise Diagne International Airport, where guests will be welcomed into Senegal with a smooth transfer to their four-star hotel in Dakar, the home base for the experience. After check-in, there will be time to settle in, freshen up, and ease into the rhythm of the city.

In the evening, the group comes together for a welcome dinner, the perfect first moment to connect, relax, and step into the journey ahead. It is a gentle but memorable start to the Senegal Signature Experience, setting the tone for a trip filled with culture, discovery, flavour, and shared moments.

Dakar City TourDay Two

Dakar opens the journey with colour, contrast, and confidence. You will set out on a guided city experience through the capital’s most defining landmarks, moving from the formality of the Presidential Palace and National Assembly to the charm, texture, and character of Kermel Market.

The experience continues to the striking Divinity Mosque, one of Dakar’s most beautiful architectural landmarks, before exploring the atmosphere, rhythm, and coastal energy that make the city so memorable. Lunch will be enjoyed during the tour, with time around the African Renaissance Monument area before returning to the hotel later in the day.

Gorée & Ngor Island Coastal EscapeDay Three

The journey continues across the water to Gorée Island, one of Senegal’s most powerful and historically significant destinations. Guests will move through its colourful streets, browse local markets, visit meaningful heritage sites, and take in the island’s quiet, reflective beauty.

From Gorée, the day shifts into a lighter coastal rhythm with a visit to Ngor Island, a scenic retreat known for its beaches, ocean views, and lively island charm. Here, guests can slow down, enjoy the atmosphere, capture beautiful moments, and experience another side of Dakar’s coastal culture.

Free DayDay Four

Today is your invitation to enjoy Dakar without a schedule. The city is yours to experience at your own rhythm, whether that means a slow morning at the hotel, a stylish shopping run for local fashion and crafts, or a relaxed afternoon discovering cafés, galleries, and hidden corners of the capital.

Guests who want to explore further, our on-ground team will be available to share trusted recommendations, arrange optional experiences, and help shape the day around your interests. It is the perfect pause in the journey: flexible, effortless, and fully yours.

Bandia Reserve Safari & Saly Street Food TourDay Five

Today brings the wild, adventurous side of Senegal into focus. Guests will journey to Bandia Reserve for a safari-style experience through open natural landscapes, with the chance to spot wildlife and enjoy a refreshing contrast to Dakar’s city energy.

From there, the day builds into one of the trip’s most memorable signature moments: a sand dunes experience with quad biking and a camel ride, blending movement, scenery, and beautiful photo opportunities. The experience continues in Saly with a street food tour, where guests will taste local favourites and discover Senegal through the flavours, aromas, and everyday food culture that make the destination feel alive.

Free Day & Farewell DinnerDay Six

Today is Saly at its easiest: coastal, relaxed, and completely unhurried. Guests can spend the day enjoying the hotel, returning to favourite spots, shopping for final souvenirs, exploring nearby beachside corners, or simply slowing down by the coast before the journey comes to an end.

As evening settles in, the group will gather for a special farewell dinner, a final signature moment to celebrate the experience, the places discovered, and the memories made in Senegal. It is the perfect close to the trip: warm, reflective, and shared by the people who experienced it together.

Departure Day Seven

Saly gives the journey its final soft landing. With the ocean still fresh in memory, guests will check out from the hotel and begin the ride to Blaise Diagne International Airport, carrying the ease of the coast into their departure.

This is where the Senegal Signature Experience comes full circle. From Dakar’s pulse to Gorée’s history, Ngor’s shoreline, Bandia’s wildlife, Saly’s flavours, and the warmth found along the way, guests leave with a journey that feels lived, not just visited.
