The Deepest Way to Experience Ghana. Reserved for You Alone.
A Private 8-Day Immersion into the Soul of West Africa
Touch down. Breathe it in. From the moment you step off that plane, Ghana greets you with a warmth that feels entirely personal because tonight, it is. Your dedicated team will be at arrivals with your exclusive welcome goody bag, ready to make your very first moments on Ghanaian soil feel exactly as special as they should be. Once you're settled, the evening is yours to begin properly — a private Welcome Dinner with the people who matter most to you. Good food, easy conversation, and that quiet electric feeling that something extraordinary has just begun. This is how your Ghana starts.
Your first full day in Accra begins with energy, a private drumming and dancing class at the Arts Centre where music is not a spectacle, it is a conversation. With just your group and your guide, this becomes one of those joyful, uninhibited moments that bonds people in a way nothing else quite does. The afternoon deepens into history. Your private guide walks you through the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the serene Asomdwe Peace Park, and the historic Christiansborg Castle — three centuries of power, independence, and legacy preserved in one remarkable site. No crowds, no rush, just you, your people, and Ghana's story told exactly the way it deserves to be.
Leave Accra behind and ascend together into the cool, mist-draped hills of Aburi where the air is cleaner, the pace is slower, and the morning feels like it was made just for your group. The Aburi Botanical Gardens greets you with ancient trees, tropical colour, and a stillness that feels almost sacred. Where the route allows, a private waterfall experience adds a breathtaking natural highlight. The afternoon belongs to the Aburi Arts & Crafts Market — the finest handmade Ghanaian craft in the country. Kente cloth, carved masks, beaded jewellery, and hand-painted fabrics by artisans who've spent their lives perfecting their work. Take your time. Shop together. Bring Ghana home.
If Accra has a heartbeat, it pounds loudest at Makola Market. Ghana's most iconic trading hub is a world of colour, commerce, and culture that operates entirely on its own terms and today, your private guide takes you straight into the heart of it. Hand-dyed fabrics, Kente cloth, beads, spices, beauty products, and local crafts fill every stall. You'll barter, browse, and almost certainly buy more than planned — but beyond the shopping, this is where you understand Accra at its most alive and most honest. A city that has been trading, creating, and thriving for centuries — and today it's entirely your playground.
Today the trip shifts from witnessing to creating, your hands, and two of Ghana's most beloved cultural traditions. A private Batik fabric-making class puts one of West Africa's oldest textile traditions directly in your hands. You'll apply wax, dip into rich dye, and pull out a wearable piece of art that is entirely, irreducibly yours — no two ever the same. The afternoon moves to a private kitchen for a Ghanaian cooking class — warm, personal, and completely delicious. Learn the techniques and stories behind dishes that have fed Ghanaian families for generations. Cook together, eat together, and leave with recipes — and memories — you'll carry home.
We travel to Cape Coast, one of the most historically significant coastlines on earth and we ask you to arrive with an open heart. Cape Coast Castle is deceptively beautiful from the outside. Inside, your private guide walks you through the dungeons, the courtyards, and the Door of No Return — the last threshold millions crossed before disappearing into the Atlantic. Elmina Castle, the oldest European building in sub-Saharan Africa, adds another devastating, necessary layer. At Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site, many have waded into these waters and felt, for the very first time, what return truly means. Experiencing this privately, surrounded only by the people who matter most to you makes it more personal, more profound, and more powerful than words can fully prepare you for. Where included, Kakum National Park's canopy walkway offers a breathtaking contrast. Today is heavy. Today is necessary. Today is yours.
Jamestown wears its history openly in peeling colonial architecture, in the shadow of the lighthouse, and in murals that stretch across entire walls telling stories the history books forgot. Your private historical walking tour moves through the community at street level, guided by a storyteller who brings five centuries of Jamestown's past to vivid, personal life. Fishermen, resistance fighters, artists, and creatives — each story connecting to the next, shared just between your guide and your group. As the afternoon light softens over old Accra, the day makes its final, beautiful turn. Your group gathers one last time for a private Farewell Dinner, the perfect close to eight days that gave you more than you came looking for. Glasses raised, stories retold, and the quiet realisation settling in that what began as a trip became something far deeper.
The bags are packed, heavier now, with Aburi craft, batik you made with your own hands, Makola finds, and every piece of Ghana you're carrying home inside you. You came together as a couple, a family, a group of friends. You leave as something even closer, people who shared something rare and real in one of the world's most extraordinary countries. Ghana did that. Your private transfer will get you to the airport with the same care and warmth that welcomed you eight days ago. Safe travels. Come back soon. And when you do bring more people you love.
