Trip overview

Everyone else gets Zanzibar shared with a group. You get it alone. Same tortoises, same sandbank, same reef but you set the pace, your own guide runs the day, and every boat, every table and every sunset belongs to you and whoever you brought.

Your itinerary

Arrival & Sunset WelcomeDay One

Land in Zanzibar and get swept straight into island time. You're picked up, dropped beachside, and handed a welcome drink before your bags even hit the floor. By sunset you are on the sand for a welcome dinner with live taarab music playing you into the trip.

Stone Town, Told Just for YouDay Two

A private guide walks you through Stone Town at your own pace, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Sultan's Palace Museum, and the quieter alleys most group tours skip.

Lunch on a rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor, then in the evening, a private sunset dhow cruise with just your party aboard, no strangers in the photos.

Spice Farm & Prison IslandDay Three

A private spice farm tour with your own guide, taste and smell the cloves, cinnamon and vanilla that made this island famous, cut fresh for you as you go.

Afterwards, a private boat charter (not shared) to Prison Island to meet the century-old giant tortoises and snorkel the reef, followed by a private beachfront lunch.

Nakupenda SandbankDay Four

You leave at sunrise, ahead of the crowds, on a private boat charter to Nakupenda sandbank — so for a few hours it's just you, your private chef preparing fresh seafood on the sand, and open water in every direction. Afternoon back at your resort for a couples' or solo beachside massage as the day winds down.

Jozani Forest & a Real Cultural ExchangeDay Five

Track red colobus monkeys through Jozani Forest with your own guide, sit with a Maasai community, then end the day in a local mama's kitchen learning to cook the meal you're about to eat. Not a demo. Not a show. The real thing!

Safari Blue & Beach BonfireDay Six

A full-day Safari Blue sail through coral gardens and secluded sandbanks, dolphins on the horizon if the ocean's feeling generous.

Evening: a beach bonfire and one last dinner under the stars, just for you.

Farewell & DepartureDay Seven

A farewell lunch, then a private VIP transfer to the airport. No group to coordinate around. No shared itinerary. Just your Zanzibar, exactly how you wanted it.

It depends on your travel route. There's no vaccination required just to enter Zanzibar if you're flying in directly from countries like the US, UK, Canada, or most of Europe, but a Yellow Fever certificate is mandatory if you're arriving from, or transiting more than 12 hours through, a country with yellow fever risk.
